May ended up getting a bit manic. I decided I was going to apply for a new job, I did and then I got it! So all a bit busy but also exciting.
- Earn another £10 Amazon Gift Card by doing surveys on Swagbucks. I’ve done well with this this month. I kind of stopped when it all got busy with job applications and interviews while also doing my normal job in the busiest season of the year. I have earned £10 though so I’m pleased with this. I need to get back into the habit of doing at least a couple each day during June.
- Earn £100 by selling electronic resources. So pleased with this. I’ve not done anything with this during May but I have earned £225. Really happy with this.
- Pay another £500 off Walt Disney World Florida 2019 Holiday which will bring the total left to pay to £3500. I have got this in my bank ready to pay. With other money being diverted here as well I have now got £1000 to pay off so down to £3000 left to pay.
- Make a mortgage overpayment which is equal to the interest added this month. I’ve only made a payment of £138. This wasn’t as much as I planned, however, with accepting a new job I have also taken a slight pay cut so don’t want to divert more here at the moment. Have decided to add a bit extra to my savings during the months before I start my new job and then I will decide if it is in my best interest to make a one-off payment.
In summary, May has been a bit of a roller-coaster. I’m looking forward to a new start in June. onwards and upwards.
